Siena, The Fashion of Food, and Kamut Cupcakes
This cupcake was as scrumptious as it looks, wrapped in a petite paper-twine cup and baked ’till golden. The first bite was heaven, and the second was a jump from cloud nine to ten. The best part is its flour-alternative Kamut base which is full of healthy grains. Definitely going to bake these once I’m back home in LA!
Any cupcake-obsessed readers? If so, what are your favorite recipes? Post ‘em below! Would love to know…

Italy, Natural Beauty, and No Makeup: My Story
Makeup-less Me
As you guys may or may not know, Whole Foods is my holy place, I used to be a Vegan, and I’m always reading labels. But it wasn’t always this way. Here’s my backstory:
I grew up living within the dietary lifestyle of a chiropractor as a dad and Persian health nut for a mom, who’s saying never failed to remind us that “back at home in Iran, the fruits were our candy and the nuts our junk food.” She has now gone gluten-free, become a passionate advocate for water health across the globe, and my dad a nature enthusiast since forever, backpacking, camping, climbing, and biking always a checkmark on the agenda. But I was the average teen with tastebuds for sweets and creams, buying cookies from school and potato chips from the vending machines. Even worse, I was an addict of soda. I knew somewhere in my subconscious that they were all bad things but I never understood why. It was only until I grasped the reasons against my actions that I finally brought them to a stop.
