While I’m not one for the bold and blinding brand-names, I couldn’t help but admire the supple leatherwork of this Prada shopper. With a messenger strap for the go-getter city runs and handles for quaint Rodeo strolls, this piece sings to the tune of true versatility. I loved this purse while hustling through the streets of LA, and I loved it just as equally for casual outings. With velvet interiors and a golden zip, this bag saves some of its gorgeous for your eyes only. Prada’s made a truly lovely child, not to mention the contrast between gold-tone brass and Jet Black Vitello Daino, which got me weak.in.the.knees.
The Prada shopper is styled here with Vince’s Cashmere Wrap Cardigan. Knowing my soft spot for 1) cashmere 2) oatmeal beige and 3) elongating effects, Vince is forever my go-to piece for a check-check-check on this love list.
The second photo’s feature piece is in fact a result of the encounter between me and crafts, often one that trails late into the night. Eyes set on a yarn shop and I was soon set with a bag full of Florentine-spun wool that’s butter-soft to the touch and just begging for some craft. So I took matters into my own hands (literally, yes!) and made this little oven-creation to pair with the Prada for the photoshoot. Loved it both as a color and material contrast to the leather in black.
And while everybody needs a tourist shot once in a while, I styled mine in Florence with my favorite Salvatore Ferragamo riding boots colored deep butterscotch, the aforementioned Vince cardigan in cashmere and Prada bn1713 as the traveling sac of choice. I can tell you now that there would have been no better way to shuffle down Via Roma and around Florence’s corners.
Enjoy!
