Los Angeles, Henri Bendel, and Beauty Sleep

This romantic pair from the Henri Bendel New York collection I picked up while visiting home in Los Angeles. As the ultimate “lusso-lusso” luxury piece for sleep, the eye slip stripes in a dashing Brownie-Cream and Black for its borders. Stitched in a cashmere exterior and silk for interiors that meet the eye, the sleepwear we can rest assured Henri really thought through within the logistics of both comfort and style. The eye slip is absolutely darling for my frequent flights from Los Angeles to Milan, Tuscany to Boston, and any other voyage I have planned across the world. Due to my severe affinity to pinstripes and poke-a-dots, I just can’t get enough of these two pieces sitting together, even if it’s as eye-candy atop my armoir. The Brownnose Bow is a lovely little fixture at the neck of the bottle and coordinates nicely with the mask’s gold detailing at the corners. And while I have to say I’m not the supporter of artificial perfumes (see more in Natural), I do admit love for its design. To seal the nutshell with a few words, this shut-eye piece is a sleep-saver when beauty rest is a must, luxury needs to be a check-check, and comfort is a prescription.
