Siena, Milano, Rain, and Dr. Stuarts Teas

So the pitter patter has finally come and I’m ready to snuggle with my favorite mug of Dr. Stuart’s. I first discovered the line of teas while living in Milano where life was chillier and tea all the more necessary for winding down the day. I absolutely fell in love with everything about it. The packaging is what initially got me, the cutesy illustrations and then surely, its impact. Read up a bit on this tea guru, Mr. Stuart, and you’ll soon find he’s one of the best herbalists out there. Top notch of his kind, Stuart picks at the most prime parts of the herb to give that cup of warmth in your hand all the more benefit and taste of pizzaz. As a lover of fine teas, this was a no-brainer and must-have in my collection.

Here is showcased his Winter Ease, great for thawing out the cold and a perfect selection for the recently rainy day weather here in Tuscany!

Siena, The Fashion of Food, and Kamut Cupcakes

This cupcake was as scrumptious as it looks, wrapped in a petite paper-twine cup and baked ’till golden. The first bite was heaven, and the second was a jump from cloud nine to ten. The best part is its flour-alternative Kamut base which is full of healthy grains. Definitely going to bake these once I’m back home in LA!

Any cupcake-obsessed readers? If so, what are your favorite recipes? Post ‘em below! Would love to know…

Siena, Elisabetta Franchi and Shop Tags

So, I have a rather obsession with tags. You know, the ones that dangle chicly from your freshly purchased goods? The making of which, seeing how meticulous and well-fabricated they are, inspires you to believe the majority of what you paid went to its making. Well I kind of, sometimes, sort of, enjoy them more than the actual product. I absolutely love playing around with the different fabrics and prints… and the way the store signature is so mindfully stamped on. It’s like a 3-dimensional autograph, except with colors, textures, and character.

I fell in love with the stark contrast between sharp black and soft, pillowy white here with Elisabetta Franchi. Lined in Jet-Black silk, these are tickets of proof that Franchi renounces luxury never.
